Manchester United have been desperate to sign Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller in this transfer window. Since last two months the German international have been linked with the Red Devils several times and in every media report, United have increased their bid for the star.

Bayern Munich have clarified on several occasions that they would not sell their best player under any circumstances. They had also reportedly tagged Muller for €100m.

If reports are to be believed then Manchester United have apparently agreed to splash the price demanded by the German giants.

When Thomas Muller was asked about his possible transfer and the mobey to spend for him he replied: “It’s basically crazy the numbers that are currently in football. That’s just the business. But there is no man who is worth €100m.”

The highly talented German has clearly mentioned that the price tag is absolutely ridiculous and no player in the world can be valued so high.

Thomas Muller is one of the best player in the World right now. He had grown as a player under Louis van Gaal when the Dutch was in charge of Bayern Munich. Considering his old contact with Muller, United fans and many others had believed that a possible deal might materialise.

Manchester United lack a genuine striker upfront as Wayne Rooney looks well past his prime this season. Muller who is an extremely versatile player can almost play in any given position upfront.

It wll be interesting to see if United actually agrees to pay 100 million Euros for the player and bring him to Old Trafford this summer.
