As per the latest reports, Tottenham are weighing a bid for Atletico Madrid’s star striker Mario Mandzukic this summer. Atletico Madrid want to sell the striker who came from Bayern Munich last summer as they are looking for better replacements next season.

The 29-year old striker has been impressive this season with Atletico Madrid after his transfer from Bayern Munich last summer. The player has scored 2 goals and 5 assists for Atletico Madrid this seasons in La Liga.

The player is known for his aerial threat and work ethic as he is one of very few strikers who would track back to help the defenders in defence. Atletico Madrid are willing to sell the player and a move to Premier League is very much on the cards.

The player have drawn interest from a host of Premier League clubs including Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United but Spurs are looking to get the deal done above all.

Mandzukic had drawn interest from Spurs back in 2009 when playing for Dinamo Zagreb but have opted to Wolffsburg before joining Bayern Munich and then moved to Spain last summer.

The Croatian will be a useful option up front as he can support Harry Kane as Spurs are looking for a top-4 finish next season.
