According to reports in Turkey, Arsenal have agreed on a loan deal with Galatasaray over full-back Mathieu Debuchy.
The 31-year old has spent the second half of last season at French club Bordeaux but failed to make an impact as he suffered an injury during his loan spell at the club.
The French international is now considered as surplus to Wenger’s requirements going into the new season and Turkish journalist Gokmen Ozdemir has reported that an agreement has been reached between Arsenal and Galatasaray. The deal now is now reportedly up to Debuchy and his family.

Debuchy has fell behind in the pecking order with the emergence of Hector Bellerin who is touted as the best young fullback in Europe. Since making a move to Emirates from NewCastle in 2014 for £12 million, the French International has only managed 22 appearances for the North London club.
Debuchy has started against Viking FK where Gunners thrashed opponents by 8-0 and have starred in the one-sided game but it is expected that the player could leave Emirates. He still has three years left on his contract with Arsenal.
Bordeaux were also interested in resigning the defender for a season-long deal but reports suggest that Galatasaray are leading the race as they inch closer to the player’s signing.
