The first pay-per-view after Wrestlemania will happen in the name of WWE Payback on this Sunday from Chicago, Illinois. This event will be special in the perspective of the women’s division since it will see the first title defense of the newly re-branded WWE Women’s championship. At the grandest stage of Wrestlemania, WWE Hall of Famer Diva Lita unveiled the women’s championship replacing the previous Divas championship belt.
At Payback this Sunday the first ever WWE Women’s champion Charlotte, Charlotte will defense her title with his daddy Ric Flair by her side, as always against the Hart dungeon member Natalya. These two have had some tremendous encounters in the past. Each of those encounters saw Charlotte winning the bout and the recent one was by using mean streak from her dad.

So to even the odds Shane Mcmahon announced on last week’s WWE Raw that WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart will be Natalya’s corner to tame the offenses of the Nature Boy. Need to mention here ever since he is appearing in Charlotte’s corner he has been the partner of her daughter’s crime acts in all the title defenses so far.
Bret Hart commented recently on his appearance at WWE Payback when he talked to Total wrestling magazine. Surprisingly, he was not willing to appear at the PPV on his own. So it is yet to see, in what capacity we will see “the Hitman” to involve in the championship match. Here’s what he said, “I do it to honor Nattie, I have no desire to be there no desire to be on TV. I’m happy to be there for Nattie but I’ve just had wrist surgery so it’s not a great time. It’ll be great to put Flair in the Sharpshooter, though.”
Ric Flair and Bret Hart had a bitter past as the rivals. After Flair belittled the Hart Dungeon by saying his popularity in America was a fraction of that in his native Canada, Bret disparaged him in his autobiography.
