Former Australian Chinaman, Brad Hogg has opened up on the ongoing debate leading to comparisons between Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in the limited-overs format. Both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have certainly established them as the best white-ball cricketers in modern-day cricket over the last five years.
While Virat Kohli has been racking up records for fun over the last decade, Rohit achieved a lot of success in 2019, particularly in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. Rohit smashed a total of five centuries in the tournament and was the leading run-scorer for the team. He carried his rich vein even after the tournament came to a close.
Brad Hogg has now jumped into the debate and named his pick between Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma as the best white-ball cricketer in contemporary times.
Brad Hogg Names His Pick Between Rohit Sharma And Virat Kohli As The Best White-Ball Cricketer
“Well, Virat Kohli, because he’s more consistent when India have the big run chases as he stands up and delivers but you really can’t compare the two as they have different roles,” said Hogg in a Youtube video.
“Rohit’s role is to be aggressive against the new ball bowlers when field restrictions are at their least and Virat’s role is to bat through the innings and make sure he’s there at the end, so they complement each other,” he added.

Virat Kohli Has Been On Top Of The Charts In The Last Decade
Virat Kohli is arguably the best batsman in world cricket at the moment. He is racking up records for fun, and he is likely to reach the summit in this list in coming times. The flamboyant Indian skipper has already smashed 70 international centuries so far and just seems to get better with days going by.
Kohli is now eighth on the list of the most runs scored by a batsman in international cricket. The Delhi-based star has a very long career ahead and the kind of form that he has been in, it seems a considerable possibility that Virat Kohli will lead this chart too.
