Bayern Munich’s veteran attacker, Thomas Muller has expressed his desire of having fans witness the fiercest battle in Bundesliga, the German Classico, between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, when they travel to Signal Iduan Park on Tuesday.
Notably, Bundesliga has been among the most competitive European leagues this season. Bayern Munich are the current leaders followed by Borussia Dortmund in the second place. On Tuesday, the two teams battle it out on the pitch as the outcome of this match will pretty much be the title decider this season.
However, due to the coronavirus scare, fans aren’t allowed in the stadium and Thomas Muller has said that he definitely desires fans to come and watch the game.
Thomas Muller Wishes Fans Could Come And Witness The German Classico
“We don’t really know how to get into these games without spectators, but I expect us, and myself, to go to our limits anyway,” Thomas Muller told Sky after the thumping of Frankfurt. “Of course, we’d like to have the fans there,” he added.
“There’s nothing more beautiful than playing these matches against Dortmund at the Allianz Arena or in Dortmund. But that’s our job, and we’re going to show that even without spectators we’re capable of playing football with passion,” he further said.
Thomas Muller Crucial In Bayern’s Thumping Of Eintracht Frankfurt
Bayern Munich clearly portrayed that they are ready to take on Borussia Dortmund next Tuesday for the Bundesliga title race this season. Bayern Munich took on Eintracht Frankfurt at the Allianz Arena on Saturday and beat them by 5-2 on Saturday night.
Leon Goretzka, Thomas Muller, Robert Lewandowski, and Alphonso Davies proved to be the goalscorers for the Men in Red as they Bayern gave no chances to Frankfurt to bounce back in the game since the first whistle.
