WWE Raw was broadcasted live last night from the home of Wrestlemania 32 i.e. Dallas, Texas’ American Airlines center. The crowd turned out to be that infamous one that is supposed to be the night after Wrestlemania. Mr. McMahon’s music hits the arena to kick things off. He addressed that his son stood no chance in hell against the Undertaker the previous night. Though, he earned a bit respect from him after that leap off the top of the cell. Shane’s music hit and he came out to thank the entire WWE Universe for supporting him at Wrestlemania. Vince indicated how insane it would be to think Shane as WWE Raw’s general manager. He did the unthinkable just after that but only for one night where Shane got control of WWE Raw for just one night.
The New Day vs. The League of Nations
Thanks to interference from King Barrett at Wrestlemania, the League of Nations picked up the victory at Wrestlemania earning the rights to feature in tag team championship match which took place on WWE Raw. The New Day stayed positive despite the loss and a stunner from Stone Cold at Wrestlemania. Amidst the mayhem that was going inside the ring, Kofi took down rest of the League of Nations with a high leap while Barrett entered the ring to be the victim of Big E and Kofi and get pinned by the midnight hour. A frustrated Sheamus and rest of LON members attacked Barrett. The chaos continued as the Wyatt family showed up and delivered a vicious assault on them to end the segment.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns confronted his probable opponents
Declaring himself “the guy”, Roman Reigns welcomed all the challengers who want to be in the line for his championship belt. The ever outspoken Jericho emerged to the ring to claim the title shot but got interrupted by whom he defeated last night at Wrestlemania i.e. AJ Styles. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn followed him. A brawl broke out between the long-term rivals i.e. Zayn-Owens and AJ-Jericho clashed among themselves as Reigns watched peacefully. After a flurry from Styles, Jericho similarly ejected The Phenomenal One to the floor, but as soon as he turned around, Reigns cut the Jericho in half with a brutal Spear.

Baron Corbin vs. Dolph Ziggler
After just one night after winning the third annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania, Baron Corbin put the entire WWE roster on notice, whoever comes in his way will be the victim. His first victim becomes Dolph Ziggler on WWE Raw. Ziggler tried with almost everything he had but failed to put down a monster that Corbin is. He drove Ziggler to the barricade sending him in the midst of the WWE Universe. Corbin took Ziggler to the ringside area where he splattered Ziggler on the floor with an unforgiving End of Days on the floor.

The Miz vs. Intercontinental Champion Zack Ryder
Zack Ryder just earned the gold at Wrestlemania and before even cherishing the moment, it got stolen away from him by the Miz. Ryder was reliving his long journey with WWE Universe chanting “you deserve it” and his father being present at ringside. The Hollywood A-lister emerged into the ring mocking Ryder’s speech and challenging him in a title match which Ryder immediately accepted.

The action got fast and furious in between the ring and Miz was driven to the floor. The Miz turned his attention to Ryder’s dad, defiantly poking him in the chest until Mr. Ryder shoved Miz to the ground. Just then, Maryse, the two-time Divas Champion, and Miz’s wife, emerged from the audience and confronted Ryder’s father, eventually slapping him in the face. Miz took full advantage of distracted Ryder by hitting the Skull crushing finale to win the Intercontinental title for the fifth time.

Charlotte was presented by the WWE Divas championship

Dudley Boyz vs. The Usos in a tables match
Usos may have outsmarted the Dudleyz at Wrestlemania, but when it came to their own tables match as a rematch, they can’t be denied. The Usos tried to put both the Dudleyz through tables with stereo splashes, but The Dudleys rolled out of the way, causing Jimmy & Jey to crash through the wood. Bubba sealed the victory driving a Uso through a table in the corner. As the Dudleyz were relishing their victory, Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady from NXT showed up with a tremendous response from the crowd and packed the veterans to the locker room for good.

AJ Styles vs. Chris Jericho vs. Kevin Owens vs. Cesaro in a WWE World Heavyweight Championship No. 1 Contender’s Fatal 4-Way Match
To help determine the top contender to WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns, Shane-O-Mac first proposed a simple solution, scheduling a No. 1 Contender’s Fatal 4-Way main event between AJ Styles, Chris Jericho, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. But, later Zayn got ambushed backstage by KO and was not medically cleared to compete and Shane got a perfect replacement in the name of the Swiss Superman, Cesaro, who returned to action after sidelined by injuries for almost six months.

He showed no sign of ring rust though catching Styles in mid-air and turning him inside out with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker in the opening minutes. From there, the action came fast and furious, with each Superstar displaying incredible athleticism during the match. The match saw everything from Cannonball to Styles’ high offenses to uppercuts, after long days. Jericho hit the Codebreaker on Styles to go the American Airlines center chanting “This is awesome” on WWE Raw. Styles rebounded into the contest quickly planting Jericho with his Styles Clash and got the pin to become the no.1 contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
