Bangladesh became the third team after England and Afghanistan to reveal their 15 member squad for the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup. 22 year old All-Rounder Soumya Sarkar is the only surprise in the squad led by Mashrafe Mortaza.

The Bangladeshi selectors led by Faruque Ahmed has picked up five specialist batsmen and six specialist bowlers backed by 3 All-Rounders and a wicket-keeper. All-Rounder Shakib Al Hasan is the key for Bangladesh’s fortunes in the World Cup and the tigers will be hoping for their star player to come good in Australia and New Zealand.

Most of these 15 players are strangers to the conditions at place in the host countries. Sabbir Rahman who had a decent against Zimbabwe at home has been included in the squad along with spinner Taijul Islam and pacer Taskin Ahmed. Veteran Abdur Razzak misses out from the final 15.
