Indian limited over captain is known for his brilliant skill with the glove. He is the highest run- getter as a wicket keeper batsman in One Day Cricket. He made his debut in 2004 as  lower middle order wicket keeper batsman.

He shined  after playing a few matches  of One Day International cricket. Dhoni hit his first hundred against Pakistan that is reckoned as his arrival in international cricket. Over the years he has become the captain of the Indian side.  In 2007 he has won the inaugural World T20  against Pakistan in the final.

At the end of the year 2008, he has become the Indian Test captain and led the country to no. 1 position in the ICC Test ranking.   He holds the position for India for 18 months.

00.9-second stumping.

However, over the years he has improved his glove work and become world’s fastest wicketkeeper as his stumping, run out are too fast that it is difficult to understand even in the open eye.

His highest stumping record is only 00.9 seconds. It was Dhoni’s lightening fast stumping against Gorge Bailey.

In India first limited over series in  the year 2016 in Australia Dhoni has stumped George Baily off the delivery of  Ravindra Jadeja. Bailey was stunned and didn’t imagine that he could be got out.  The third umpire found Bailey was beaten by Dhoni in a fraction of a second.

India lost the ODI series even after putting up a great fight against the Australians.  But in the T20 series India bruised Australia 3-0 as Indian bowlers and batsmen were unstoppable.

Batsman Virat Kohli  bludgeoned Australia’s ordinary bowling attack which was without the service of two top bowlers Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc as they were injured.

The Untold Story of MS Dhoni:

A movie is also coming which will reveal the untold story of MS Dhoni. A part of the movie already revealed as Dhoni agreed to let that part of his life know his fans. Sakshi is not his first love. Dhoni was struggling in his life and playing well for India A. But his girl friend died in a accident. However, the tragedy that not let him down. He started performing with great innings. In 2005 he scored 148 against Pakistan and 183 against Sri Lanka.

Criticism riddled  Dhoni

Dhoni was riddled with criticism as he failed to emulate his past performance. But his wicketkeeping is still brilliant and in India nobody can match him at present.

It is not that Dhoni lost his charm with the bat entirely because in 2015 when South Africa was touring in India for a five-match ODI series, three matches T20 and four-match Test series,   Dhoni in the Indore ODI played a great innings. India lost their top half even before scoring 200, but Dhoni started to stitch the innings with one or twos and later in the innings he blasted South African bowlers that helped India to post respectable innings. India won the match and equaled the series 2-2.

No doubt MS Dhoni will play for India till 2019 World Cup because currently, India doesn’t have any wicketkeeper-batsman who can fill the vacant of Dhoni.

Dhoni recently toured Zimbabwe where he got a chance to bat  in the first T20 but he failed to win the match against the host in the last over of the match. India needed to score a boundary to win the match but  he failed to score a boundary.

Dhoni currently spending holidays at home. He will play the next series against New Zealand when the Down Under country New Zealand will visit India in September-October this year.

After New Zealand, Dhoni will play a limited over series in March when Australia will come in India.

Dhoni will lead India in the 2017 Champions Trophy in the England where India will defend the title. India has won the trophy in 2013 without any loss.

The Indian Test team is currently touring West Indies for a four-match Test series under the new coach of Anil Kumble.

But it is unimaginable how Dhoni’s lightening fast stumping against Gorge Bailey happened.
