As per the latest reports, Arsenal are lining up a bid for Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio this summer. The player has been in fine form this season and has proven his worth in Juventus’ star midfield.

The player is reportedly frustrated with his situation at Juventus as he is not earning much and the new signing of Sami Khedira made things more complicated for the midfielder.

Arsenal are currently monitoring the situation of the midfielder and a summer bid is expected from the Gunners. Liverpool are also keen but given Arsenal have qualified foe Champions League makes them favorites ahead of the Reds.

The 29-year old has a wide range of passing ability and can score at will from long range shots which can be useful for the Gunners as they head in to a new season.

The player’s father and agent has confirmed the talks for the potential move to Premier League.

‘I’ve received many calls from top clubs in the Premier League and the Bundesliga,’ said Stefano Marchisio.

The player has been one of the finest midfielders in Europe this season and would be a valuable addition to Gunners as they look to strengthen their midfield.
