Jurgen Klopp took over Liverpool a few months ago but has not really been able to take the league by storm in the short time. He has had several problems with his squad with the injuries growing in number by the day.

An impressive victory over Leicester City on Boxing Day was marred by a hamstring injury to Belgium International Divock Origi who looked impressive before being taken off in the first half at Anfield.

The result saw the players take to Social Media to express their happiness and one such tweet from star striker Daniel Sturridge has seen mixed reactions from the fan base around the world.

Daniel Sturridge has been out with an injury from the first week of December and the fans want to see him become stronger or see him sold as he has not really been able to live up to his potential with all the injuries he picks up during crunch times in the season.

Sturridge who was at Anfield for the game against the Foxes tweeted: ‘Perfect gift for Christmas from the boys getting a win. On a sidenote I’m back training and good to go!! #Lfc#redordead

Jurgen Klopp who in the midst of all the injuries said that hamstring is a word he hates will surely welcome the England international and may even give him a chance to play against Sunderland in the last game this year.

Have your say on whether Liverpool should persist with Sturridge or go into the transfer market for another striker.
