According to Sky Italia, Liverpool have a ‘strong interest’ in AS Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes.
The 22-year-old starred on loan with Empoli last year, making 33 appearances as they finished in 10th place. And his impressive performances for the Serie A side have apparently seen Roma field interest from across Europe this summer with Liverpool being one of the most interested clubs in acquiring the services of the Argentine youngster.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp wants to bolster his midfield after the departure of players like Joe Allen and after his side’s humiliating 2-0 loss against Burnley, it seems he might approach the Italian club for the youngster.
However, the daily has claimed that the Italian outfit is desperate to keep their priced asset in Rome and and are ready to refuse any offer for the player.
