Lately whenever Jose Mourinho has spoken anything about Arsenal, it has been rather vile and disrespectful but in a rather surprising way, Mourinho has come out and praised Arsenal’s squad strength and the Chelsea manager believes Arsenal are close to replicating their Invincibles season again.

Mourinho was speaking ahead of the Leicester game where he claimed that he does not see Chelsea retaining their title next season. The Portuguese claimed that Arsenal have a terrific squad at the moment and they need just 3-4 players to make them the obvious champions next season.

Mourinho discussed the Van Gaal’s impact at Manchester United as he described the brilliant squad United have built at Old Trafford and the Chelsea manager expects yet another spending spree by Manchester United next season.

Mourinho was highlighting on how difficult it has become to dominate the Premier League teams with teams constantly getting better with every passing season.

Mourinho said“It’s even more difficult to dominate than before,” the Chelsea manager said. “How can you speak about domination when everyone knows what will happen next summer?

“Give to Arsenal four top-class players and I think they will again be the Invincibles.

“Manchester United have a phenomenal squad. They will invest hugely again in the summer.

“Next year it will be even more difficult for everyone.”

“At this moment, it’s very difficult in the Premier League for a team to be dominant. This is not Germany with Bayern Munich. This is not Switzerland with Basel. This is not Scotland with Celtic.”

These comments from Mourinho do make sense as Premier League is rightly tipped as the most competitive league in the world.

For all of his comments, I cannot help but think that Mourinho has already started his mind games for next season by putting extra pressure on the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United by claiming how good their squad is and it is them who will start as the favorites to win the league next season and not Chelsea.
