The Premier League after the end of the season will enter one of the most important pre-seasons for a long time this summer.

The transfer window set to open in a few months has captured all the eyes of football fans all over the country as the amount of talent linked with Premier League clubs is on the high side for the next season.

With the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool all set to make big changes to their squads, there will be a lot of fight for top class talent all across Europe.

One such big name who seems set to make the move this summer is Real Madrid mid-fielder Toni Kroos.

The German national has not been able to cement a place in the starting XI at the Spanish capital and is thought to be frustrated with the way he is treated at the club.

He moved to Madrid from Bayern Munich in 2014 and has ever since played an important role in the club’s run to this point. However, lack of proper game-time has seen him unsettled at the club and it is understood that the Los Blancos is also ready to offload the mid-fielder this summer.

With just £35m quoted as the asking price for the 26-year old, there is no surprise that a number of top clubs in Europe are ready to fight it out for the signature of one of the most accomplished mid-fielders at the moment in Europe.

Earlier today it was reported that French outfit Paris Saint Germain are holding initial talks with the 26-year old for a potential move this summer.

PSG have a solid mid-field with the likes of Verrati, Pastore, Rabiot and Matuidi all performing exceptionally well this season. However, Kroos is an established mid-fielder and will surely improve the quality of the squad going into the next season.

The Paris franchise however, will not be able to price Kroos away without a fight as a number of EPL clubs are also after his signature.

Pep Guardiola, who is set to take over Manchester City this summer has already prepared a wishlist for his team next season and it is understood that Toni Kroos is at the top end of this list.

Most players in the Etihad outfit might not fit into Guardiola’a style of play which might see the club make a number of additions to the squad after selling players. Kroos will add mettle to the mid-field at the Etihad and playing under one of the most prestigious manager will surely give Kroos a headache when he has to chose a club to play for next season.

However, Manchester United, who themselves might see their manager and squad change this summer are also plotting an ambitious bid for Kroos this summer.

Though £35m is the valuation of the player, the Red Devils are desperate to bolster their mid-field and are ready to offer  upto £50m for the mid-fielder.

However, the Old Trafford franchise must get a place in the Champions League next season to have any shot at landing Kroos before the start of the next season.

Surely, this story might turn out to be one of those transfer sagas that provide entertainment even before the start of the season.

So where do you think Toni Kroos will play next season?
