In the second game, K Srikanth really stamped his authority over his Malaysian opponent. At the interval, K Srikanth led 11-2. After the interval, K Srikanth looked in control and won the second set 21-5 easily and progressed into the semi-finals.
In women’s section PV Sindhu took on HE BJ of China. In the first game, both players fought for each point. At the interval, the Chinese player led 11-10.
