Once again, the former Indian batsman Sunil Gavaskar comes up with his best XI of the tournament. As always, he came up with an interesting section of players, who got the knack of dealing the game against the best in the world cricket. Interestingly, he left out Virat Kohli.

The squad consists of Three Indian cricketers, three Australian candidates and three England cricketers as well. A couple of players left in the squad are from New Zealand and Bangladesh.

The flamboyant cricketer Sunil Gavaskar picked Rohit Sharma of India and Australia’s David Warner to open the innings for his side. Both of them enjoyed quite a bit of success for their respective teams and also garnered a huge name for their performances for the country during the tournament.

Rohit Sharma to open:

Following them, Gavaskar asked England’s number 3 batsman Joe Root to bat at number 3 position. The talented right-handed batsman is one of the best batsmen the world has ever witnessed. For number 4, he chose Kiwis skipper Kane Williamson.

Following Kane Williamson, it is the all-time best all-rounder from Bangladesh Shakib Al Hasan, who will be batting in the middle-order for his side. He is accompanied by the ever-stylish Alex Carey while Ben Stokes is the next man to walk into the crease.

Adding to Stokes, Sunil Gavaskar asked Ravindra Jadeja to bat for his side. Coming to the fast bowling department, he asked Mitchell Starc of Australia to join Jasprit Bumrah and Jofra Archer in the team. All in all, the squad looks complete that can beat any kind of team on its day.
