Pure bad feelings are bound to come for the Australian girl, Emma who made her main roster debut years ago but was sent back to the NXT division after an unfortunate shoplifting event. She managed back to pull it through the hard times and established herself as an evil persona and re-debuted on the main roster prior to this year’s Wrestlemania.
She competed in a huge tag team Women’s competition at this year’s Wrestlemania. After the mega event was over, her partner at NXT, Dana Brooke was also brought to the main roster to carry on their heel acts here on Raw. They started by targeting Becky Lynch. Her feud with Becky Lynch was going through a one-sided affair as Emma was waiting for an imminent push coming towards her.
But, all of a sudden Emma suffered a ruptured disk in her neck in a WWE live event. Due to the back injury, she had to go undergo an immediate surgery in May and was sidelined for at least six months.
She was not supposed to be back before the month of November that is prior to the Survivor Series PPV. However, the latest report from cagesideseats.com suggests that Emma was present backstage on this past week’s Raw. It means that she is scheduled to be back, earlier than expected. The rumor mill suggests that she may have already started training in the WWE’s performance center in Orlando, Florida and is set to return in Mid-October.
It is going to be a perfect time for Emma’s return because Dana Brooke is on the verge to break her alliance with the Women’s champion, Charlotte, in the upcoming weeks. If Emma does return she will pick up from right where they left off. Also, Raw’s Women’s division is looking thinner as of right now and the inclusion of Diva’s like Emma or Paige is necessary by all means.
