The International Premier Tennis League (IPTL) has just changed venues as per schedule and from today till 4th December, the matches will be held in Singapore. Today, the first match of IPTL on Singapore court was played between Indian Aces and UAE Royals.

The Micromax Indian Aces have surprised everyone with their ability to adjust to different conditions as they rattled the opposition UAE Royals by 30-18 in respect of games won in 5 sets. Ana Ivanovic of Aces beat Kristina Mladenovic of UAE Royals in the first set by 6-2, followed by wins by Rohan Boppana and Sani Mirza(6-5), Gael Monfils(6-1), Fabrice Santoro(6-2), Rohan Boppana and Gael Monfils(6-1) against a weak looking UAE team.

The Indian Aces set kept their winning momemtum intact as they now lead the table with 4 wins in 4 matches. They are looking the favourites at the moment to win the tournament. There will be a huge round of cheer for the Indian Aces when they come home to play from 6th December to 8th December as tournament will shift to India, New Delhi.
