WWE gave a breaking news two days prior to WWE TLC. They confirmed that none other than Vince McMahon is coming back on WWE Raw with some big announcements, perhaps. WWE Raw was dealing with a lot of bad booking issues since Survivor Series passed by. There have been declining it ratings to drag the viewership to an all-time low.
So this was an automatic choice for the creative team to come up with. WWE Raw does not have a general manager, either at this point. The acting GM lost his post after losing his match at WWE TLC. So who’d announce the next authoritative figure of the show? Well, there’s nobody better to do this than the Boss himself.
Rumors were running rampant about the next GM of WWE Raw for the past several hours. Additionally, some sources hinted that Vince McMahon would make some path-breaking announcements regarding WWE programming. This could change the course and start a new era. Overall, the stakes were pretty high before WWE Raw kicked off.
‘No Chance in Hell’ started playing in the sound system as we went live into WWE Raw. The crowd in Sacramento started booing Vince McMahon loudly which went even bigger as The Boss did not want to hear those. He tried to find out what the wrong is with WWE Raw, nowadays and welcomed Stephanie McMahon into the ring. Triple H soon joined them inside the ring followed by Shane McMahon.
Stephanie McMahon started saying that they were not doing a pretty good job to run WWE Raw. They will have to use the superstars in a better way to make things fresh on the show. So for now, all four of them will be in control of WWE Raw. The same goes for Smackdown, too. They’re going to ensure the fans have the best possible experience. Triple H reaffirmed that they will give these fans what they want.
With that being said, Vince McMahon and co. confirmed that there will not be any general manager on WWE Raw, for now. The previous acting GM tried to speak about a second chance, thereafter. But he had a horrible experience to compete in a 4-on-1 handicap No-DQ match. Kurt Angle, Apollo Crews, Bobby Roode, and Chad Gable were the four opponents who laid down the waste on him and keep him out of the authoritative power for good.
