WWE News: Brock Lesnar To Become Universal Champion At Wrestlemania

WWE Universe always stays on their feet every time Goldberg shows up on Raw or in PPVs. Vince McMahon understood the fact that he needs this man around the Wrestlemania season and hence extended his contract. Furthermore, he has decided to put him in the main event spot at the grandest stage of them all and the rumors say that the next match between Brock Lesnar and Goldberg is going to be contested for the Universal Championship.

After coming up short previously during Survivor Series and the Royal Rumble PPV, Lesnar is supposed to seek vengeance against the man who had his number. This time, the bout is going to be a full-time match in which Goldberg is supposed to end up on the losing side which means Brock Lesnar will come out of the Citrus Bowl as the champion.

This due to the fact that a promotion named Inside The Ropes has started advertising Goldberg for an upcoming United Kingdom tour post-Wrestlemania season. The tour will be conducted in the month of June which certainly indicates that the Myth will not be working in the WWE. This only means that even if he wins the prime championship on Raw, it will be for a shorter span of time.

Goldberg will not be wrestling for the promotional tour. Rather, he will take part in three fan interaction segments in the UK. The tour will kick-off on 26th of June. He will be having a meet-and-greet session with the English fans in Glasgow, Scotland on June 26th, Manchester, England on June 27th and London, England on July 2nd.

With this announcement, it’s pretty clear that Goldberg will be on a hiatus after Wrestlemania gets over. He might not be back until the Summerslam season comes around. In his absence, it will be the beast incarnate who will be holding the Universal championship on Raw. Lesnar held the championship during the night of Wrestlemania 31 where Seth Rollins looted the title with his Money in the Bank briefcase.
