French defender Philippe Mexes scored a stunning volley to guide AC Milan to smooth win over arch-rivals Inter Milan in a pre-season friendly game at China.
It was evenly fought match between the two Italian sides but Milan finally took the cake home courtesy a Mexes stunner.
Giacomo Bonaventura took a croner kick which curled away from the goal and reached the edge of the penalty box. The Frenchman approached the cross and attempted a volley at the goal. The ball went like a rocket and and landed at the goal. The Inter custodian remained spellbound.

This is not the first time that Mexes scored an acrobatic goal. He had previously scored from a back volley against Anderlecht 3 seasons back. It was somewhat close to Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s finish.
