Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has revealed that defender John Terry is fit and could start against Wolves tomorrow as the Blues face the Championship side in FA Cup.

The 36-year old had suffered an ankle injury last week which has ruled him out of their Premier League game against Burnley but the veteran defender could be in line to start on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the Italian manager has also announced that Marcos Alonso and David Luiz are the only players who will miss the game as all the others are available for selection.

“All the players are available,” Conte said.

“For sure there are situations that is better to keep under control.

“For Marcos Alonso to have a bit of rest and David Luiz.

“We have the opportunity to recover very well and to prepare for the next game. All the players are in a good form. I have to make the best choices for the game.”

Both Marcos Alonso and David Luiz were given rest while the latter is still trying to fully recover from his knee injury. Luiz had limped against Burnley as he struggled to stay on pitch which has put the Blues fans in anger.

However, Conte has revealed the player is doing fine as he is in much better condition than the day when he suffered the injury courtesy of a reckless tackle from Manchester City’s striker Sergio Aguero.

“He is okay, his knee is okay. If you compare his knee after Man City, it has improved a lot,” Conte said of Luiz.

“It is important to keep it under control. He is doing training sessions with a fitness coach.”

Chelsea have looked near perfect in the Premier League as they are way ahead of their title rivals. However, the Blues will also look to make the most in FA Cup as a win tomorrow would put them in the quarterfinals.

Chelsea had last won FA Cup in 2012 and will look to go for more silverware as Premier League is only theirs to lose from now on.
