In their IPL 2021 opening match, most of the bowlers failed to handle Punjab Kings (PBKS) batsmen. Only Chetan Sakariya got three wickets (3/31) while the most expensive cricketer in IPL Auction history South African cricketer Chris Morris had bowling figures of 4-0-41-2.
Among the Rajasthan Royals batsmen, only captain Sanju Samson crossed the 30-run mark as he became the first cricketer to score a century on IPL captaincy debut.
