PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot has asked the club for a loan move and reports in London 24 suggest that Emirates stadium would be the new home of the 20 year old.

Insufficient game time being the reason behind the request put in by the young player, he has said that “It’s something that he (the president) can’t refuse me – I know he likes me very much. When you train all week, you want to be on the field. Sometimes it’s not possible and it’s frustrating”. And this surely bodes well for the Gunners.

Arsenal boss Wenger will be without the services of Santi Cazorla and Francis Coquelin and Rabiot who has wowed Wenger is a viable solution to the midfield problem currently plaguing Arsenal. But the Gunners are not the only ones in the race to sign the Frenchman. A North London transfer derby is set to be on the cards as Tottenham too have shown keen interest in signing the PSG midfielder.

Arsenal desperately needs a central midfielder with key players picking up injuries and being sidelined for a major part of the season. Apart from Rabiot another plausible player for Arsenal could be Victor Wanyama who has earned praise from the likes of Robert Pires. While speaking to journalists Pires enumerated how Wanyama is a complete player and just what Arsenal need at the moment. “He has the speed, skill and physique. However, I think he needs to score more goals because then he will be world-class material.said Pires to the reporters in Nairobi.

News flooding in from Spain has further added fuel to the ‘Benzema to Arsenal’ rumour. Real Madrid are said to have supposedly lost patience with the French striker due to his off pitch activities and want to let him go. The summer saw the transfer rumour turned to dust by Wenger and most likely this time too it will be snubbed by the Boss. Is this a heartbreak for Arsenal fans? (Really don’t think so!)
