Manchester United players, coaches and manager were busy scratching their heads and trying to figure out how to get United’s season back on track after the shock away defeat against Swansea.
Manchester United players were going through their paces ahead of Saturday’s match against Sunderland. One player in particular who looked determined to prove his fitness ahead of the game was Radamel Falcao, who is set to start on Saturday after Robin Van Persie and James Wilson will miss the game due to foot injuries.
Another player hoping to start the game on Saturday will be Juan Mata, who looked equally determined to make a mark on Louis Van Gaal in his bid to gain a starting 11 place in the side against Sunderland.
Wayne Rooney who could start his second game in a row as a striker for United seemed in a positive mood ahead of this game, Rooney talked to the reporters after training and said:
“There are still a lot of games to go and we have to bounce back quickly, go on another good run and try to keep in a good position to finish in that top four,”
