Liverpool have received a massive boost as Daniel Sturridge trained ahead of their trip to Emirates. Earlier, reports suggested Sturridge might be out for a month as England boss Roy Hodgson described the problem as “a slight tear”. Daniel Sturridge was ruled out for both the games against Lithuania and Italy.
Liverpool face Arsenal in what looks like a must win game for the Merseyside outfit if they were to qualify for Champions League. Sturridge has found the back of the net thrice since returning from an injury recently and Liverpool will be hoping he does the same against Arsenal at Emirates. Raheem Sterling has also returned to training after he missed England’s game against Italy.
The likes of Lucas Leiva, Dejan Lovren and Simon Mignolet are also available, while skipper Steven Gerrard and Martin Skrtel are banned for three games.
