However, with AS Roma desperate to induce some cash into the club, they are ready to leave Nainggolan this summer and he is wanted extensively by the Red Devils.
The 28-year old has a contract with the Italian outfit that runs till 2020 and Roma are also ready to offer him a new deal, as they believe that he is the right man for the club in the future.
However, the Belgian is yet to put pen to paper for the Serie A outfit and looks interested in a move to Old Trafford this summer.
And according to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, United are said to be prepared to pay between £35.3m – £39.7m (40m euros – 45m euros) for Nainggolan.

The report claims that Jose Mourinho is desperate for his signature and has already held talks with his representatives for a move this summer.
With pressure on Roma to sell atleast one more star after Mohamed Salah, they might be tempted to offload Nainggolan this summer but Manchester United also have backup plans ready, for if they miss out on this 28-year old.
It is also understood that Jose Mourinho is looking at AS Monaco’s Brazilian star Fabinho, Chelsea’s Serbian star Nemanja Matic and Tottenham Hotspur’s Eric Dier as possible alternatives.
However, Nainggolan seems to be at the top of the wishlist for the club and there could be a deal in the upcoming days.
