Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas have reached an agreement with the club to terminate his contract at the end of the season as he looks to find a new club this summer, according to reports in Spain.

Los Blancos are expected to make the signing of David de Gea their top priority in the upcoming transfer window as he is termed as the perfect replacement for Keylor Navas.

The Costa Rican international have been speculated to leave the club in the recent weeks and has grown frustrated with his position at the club.

According to Spanish media outlet Don Balon, Real Madrid is ready to let the player leave in the summer as Navas is believed to have reached an agreement with the club to terminate his contract.

The 30-year old still has three years left on his contract with Real Madrid and the club is ready to pay him off for the remainder of his contract as they are convinced of landing de Gea in summer.

Manchester United’s David de Gea is largely expected to sign for Real Madrid as their No.1 going into next season as the club are set to land him early in the summer unlike two years ago where they were unable to pull off the deal in the final hours of the transfer window.

Keylor Navas have signed for Real Madrid after 2014 World Cup and has become their No.1 in 2015 with the departure of Iker Casillas to Porto. He has since played a massive role in the progress of Real Madrid in the last two seasons and still has a contract till 2020 with the Spanish giants.

He has made 38 appearances for Real Madrid this season but has taken a lot of stick for minor mistakes that he made during the course of the season.

Meanwhile, speaking about his move Santiago Bernabeu in summer at a charity event earlier this month, David de Gea said: “This is a very beautiful time to be wasting time with questions that are not worth it.”

The move for de Gea could see Manchester United making a move for Keylor Navas who could be available for free if he terminates the contract with Los Blancos at the end of the season.
